Get another doctor! Don’t let them out you on a anti-depressant either. Adding magnesium really helped my sleep. Check your other nutrient levels—B12, D and iron can all contribute to those problems. Good luck you are not alone.
I’ve got a pretty good doctor. I had worse before. It’s hard to find good ones where I am.
I am going to try contraception pills, to balance the hormones. Some people told me it helps. Would that be better than antidepressants? I’m trying to figure out that
Ugh I’m sorry. I am going through this now. I tried BCPs and it made me break out and feel awful. I recently started Serenol and it seems to be helping in controlling some of the pain/discomfort/hormones and the brain fog, too. I haven’t spent a lot of time researching Kindra but that’s a new offering from P&G that also might be worth looking into.
This may be a dumb question but when do you know you’re in peri menopause?
Oh wow, I have ALL of these symptoms and am 40. So I must be going through the same thing. Thanks for sharing and hope all goes ok. Here in solidarity!
