Wants to work in the US. Sorry
If you want to work in the US, study there.
INSEAD is my dream school too. Don’t want to spend more than a year on mba.
My dream school too! 🙋🏽♀️ But I know for a fact my frnds who went to school there had a tough time finding jobs in the US! ☹️
Huh! I did not know that it’s tough to find jobs in US for INSEAD grads..
Is that specific to INSEAD, or any top European school ! US schools do not have one year mba.. Kellogg has but it’s not truly one year program, just that we join into second year directly..
Couldn’t one do a study abroad for like 10 weeks at Kellogg or other us schools to find a role?
Pwc1.. I think it’s European schools in general... and Insead is by far d best out there and even their students have a tough time finding a job in the US!
OP, that’s definitely an option! But d degree isn’t as recognized as the M7, so it is just difficult to get a job in the US market!
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I’m kind of surprised by the lack of brand in the us. While I wouldn’t expect it to be on a M7 level, figured it would at worst be one level below that.
OP - why are you interested in INSEAD ? Just want to get the perspective. My driving force is that it is the best school that offers one year mba. And I don’t want to do 2 year mba. Can not afford 2 years salary, $150k tuition, 2 years expenses..
Similar for me, but I want a truly international experience. I’ve done consulting in both South America and the US, speak 3 languages. Just generally speaking I feel insead is the perfect fit. I do see myself long-term in the US though.
Will definitely be harder to find a job in the US. Recruiting at McKinsey at least is almost 100% alumni driven (e.g., Booth alumni interview Booth applicants)
