Hey, I’ve been working at an agency for 10 months. Tbh the low entry level salary in marketing is getting to me. I live in a high cost of living city. I hate having to work from 9-6, sometimes skipping lunch(not paid for lunch hour), and working overtime for no over time pay. Is it worth sticking it out or switching fields? I didn’t have the best childhood and want to be self sustainable faster. I’m not a quitter but my mental health is not in a good place. Would like some advice. Thanks!

At what point are you too specialized to lateral to internal audit? (PA, consulting, or industry roles) Currently have 2 years of external audit experience and 2 years of forensics: I always thought of internal audit as a decent exit but I’m beginning to get worried about getting too specialized to make that move one day

Need some inputs. My BU just went into a reorg which has benefitted me and I got a promise to a fast track promotion within 18 months of my joining. However, I’m passionate about a pm role and have got an offer for a rotation position. I’m not sure how to bring it up to my supervisor considering they made that promise only recently. Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?

I bought CER006 on Nov 21 with my current company email id and completed one certification. I am leaving my current organization and I still have 9+ months time left for CER006. My company says the s user id provided by them will get de-activated once I leave (in a week). I have not claimed the amount also. Is there any way I can transfer the certification to my personal email I'd so that I can write other exams in time left?

I've been seeing a lot of ADCOLOR posts on linkedin, and some of the people who are liking and reposting it are some of the same people who were blatantly racist and rude to me when I worked with them. I wish there was something I could say/do about it, but it's literally making my blood boil seeing them like posts about "uplifting" and "supporting" BIPOC, only because I know that once they get off their screens and they're the meanest people
