Yep - haven't found a way around it so just mailed it in
Thanks BCG1. First year filing as a full year IL resident.
Got the same message
FYI - please read the mail you received when the w2 were released. If you don't provide full wages they will request a employer letter which Deloitte will not provide it seems.
Every year for the past for
F*four
D1 or D2, would either of you be willing to discuss process. Still getting a bit hung up on the process and the note from PPS on the remote letter. Gofish80433@gmail.com
Employer not remote*
I am not a tax accountant but as the mail instruct report full wages on IL form. That will also make you eligible for e-filing
Full wages get reported to IL. TT tries to apply a credit to IL based on taxes paid in another state. This is causing the e-filing issue. Note from our email says "according to the schedule CR instructions you cannot include wages taxed by other states on line 1 of schedule CR if included in Illinois wages. Therefore, you cannot take a credit for taxes paid to other states on your Illinois return." I'm 1st time IL resident filer so hoping to gain some perspective here.
Correct it tries to apply a credit which you can't do.
Got it. Makes sense. Was seeming too good to be true to expecting that add'l refund.
