Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

Work from home is good only until you prefer to be at the comfort of your home. Networking is very difficult if you don’t meet people at work often and networking is required for visibility and a career growth or a lateral movement in your firm.
work from home sometimes becomes exhausting because you end up working more on a daily basis as compared to going to office.
I would prefer wfh with a flexibility to visit office whenever I want. This would give the benefit of both the worlds.
compelling someone to follow a strict hybrid routine like - visit office on M-W-F or T-T-S is also not good. there should be flexibility.
i would personally prefer a hybrid.
n yes if u go to offiece, talk to people, interract with tech heads , discuss, socialise, u can see a better growth not only career but also in personal level
It’s always like you are available situations no matter what time it is..I am getting so tired by the end of the week that no energy to do socialisations at weekends. Also it limits normal interaction with people and you only talk about work on teams. I prefer hybrid more
No I feel burned out for various reasons. I’d prefer to be working in a hybrid mode if given a chance.
More replies on this post will be appreciated..
go for hybrid.
Hybrid is better. WFH is good when you have some issues.
.
Reason for asking this question - I am in a situation if I want to do love marriage I have to take permanent wfh and compromise the career growth or have to go with arrange marriage and compromise the Love ..now I have to take one firm decision..
Go with the career buddy..if there is love then there should be understanding as well. Your partner should respect your career choice and who told you in arrange marriage there is no love.
