Individual Contributor or Manager of 4? I have about 6 yrs of exp and have managing a team of 4 for about a year. Recently in a performance review my manager commented that I was always a top tier bucket as an individual but as a manager, I was slightly worse off performance wise. I have gotten an amazing opportunity in the past and am still getting offers now but the thing is I join a company and then in 6 months or so my mind automatically diverts to look for another opportunity with better salary. Its not that I don't like the work or the company but psychological I feel there's always better opportunities out there and I switch often. How do I not think about it? ✌
