Applied to a position at RBC 3 weeks ago and still haven’t hear anything back yet, does it normally take this long?

Lol. Can take months.

like

When I joined RBC from initial interview to first offer took 2 months. Negotiations took another 2 weeks.

like

2-3 months if you are a top candidate and up to 6 months if you are bottom of the pack.

I did my interview 2 months ago and my status on workday is still not rejected yet

My experience with the bank is that they always take so long. I applied to RBC as an intern a couple years ago and they finally saw me as a potential hire and that one moved quickly. But my prev attempt only landed 1 interview and never heard back from them. I don’t work for RBC though and I haven’t worked there. I just feel like banks are very slow in my opinion 😅

I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Hi! I have worked in management roles in tech, mainly in analytics, for approximately 10 years. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. What is the most realistic way to move to 200K? 1) Continue moving the ladder to a VP position, 2) Switch to Pre-Sale, 3) Switch to Consulting, 4) Work from a U.S. company from Canada.
