I am asked during this RE analyst interview to build a real estate model from scratch. My background is commercial banking and I am used to analyzing real estate deals from the lender side not the developer. The interviewer is generous I must say he’s giving me a few days to complete. However this model is for a ground up multifamily development. I have no prior experience building one. I can find models online but all very complexe to reproduce. How would you handle? Do you have model to share?

I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. My interview with Microsoft for SE2 was scheduled and cancelled a day before. Neither I received any email regarding cancellation nor the recruiter informed me. Two days later I got an email saying Microsoft is freezing hiring for certain departments and the recruiter is ghosting me. Will I even get a chance to interview atleast?

I’m a first year analyst in RFA with deloitte and have really hated my experience so far. Both my projects have been a lot longer than they stated and I have learned 0 skills from either of them. I do try and ask for feedback, and sometimes they give saying that there just isn't the right fit for your skillset at this time. If so, then why did you interview me? #frustrated

Welp. Had an interview scheduled for this morning for 30 mins. I join the webex & nothing. I email the recruiter after 15 mins and get a response saying the interviewer had something come up and would like to reschedule. Is it dramatic of me to be bothered by the fact they didn’t even apologize? Meanwhile, I have another interview for a different company Monday & the recruiter reached out today asking if I had any questions or do a zoom test run.
