Are any banks and consulting firms even hiring right now? I am 2nd year consultant at a T2 firm and I have been trying to exit into finance or move to a stronger firm without much luck. Would I be better off just focusing on certifications and development until the economy recovers?

Hi Fishes.. 6 yoe in SAP SD, i got 2 offers one from Wipro14 lpa role tech lead and other from Infosys for 16lpa role consultant.. i feel in Wipro the role is good but package is very less and in Infosys the role less for my experience and package can also be revised.. what can i do.. need your valuable inputs if i can negotiate with anyone of the company or which i can choose.. What is happening? Projects having budget problems and then cancelling the projects, teams moving to bench because of that

I know that some other associates at my level are approximately 30% behind other associates in hours on a month to month basis. Yet all of these associates say they are “at capacity”, and myself and another associate still end up being assigned work instead of them. How do we handle this? Ex-consultant now in marketing. Used to be an avid follower here and got great insights on companies when trying to exit consulting so thought I’d try here for advice. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.

Need some advice: Last year I left consulting to take a job in industry (a pay cut, but more freedom, WLB). Due to covid I switched to yet another company (same industry). It’s been half a year at the new place and I absolutely hate it. Not the work, but the company genuinely sucks. Considering a) mba for next fall (just as a reset) or b) job hopping yet again. I’m so demoralized that the past two industry jobs have gone so badly. I’m starting to regret not just staying in consulting...
