Recruiters: How to articulate that I am capable of Sourcing for Technical roles coming from a healthcare background (3yrs)? Sourcing is a transferable skill. It takes passion, curiosity, and the ability to research to hunt for the right person for the role. I believe it can be done in any industry. However, it seems like companies would take a novice over someone with a different industry experience (after viewing several LI profiles) and I don't want to be boxed into my current industry.

Advice on applying to PM jobs with 1yr APM experience?

I’ve been working as an APM at my current company for 1yr, and have basically been doing the work of a full blown PM the entire time. I’ve lead several features from start to finish and made sure to mention in my resume that I have been doing everything a regular PM does. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes.
