My wife has her joining date extended from Randstad and no joining date has been provided. What are the chances of her offer getting revoked. She has around 1 year of experience in HR. She got to know about this just on the last day of her notice period. She doesnt have any other offer as she didnt expect the joining date to get extended. Randstad. If anyone is open for hiring, please let me know. I can share it with her. Morningstar Tata Consultancy Accenture JPMorgan Chase KPMG PwC EY Deloitte

Where do you see yourself long-term? Will an MBA help you get there? Can your current role be a stepping stone?
I don’t think there is one right answer. If you don’t have a good idea of what you want to do next, try doing informational interviews with people at other companies or in MBA programs. That should help you crystallize what you want to do next.
The other thing to keep in mind is careers are long and typically not linear. May not feel like it right now, but sounds like you are learning a lot about what you like and don’t like. Those lessons will pay dividends throughout your career.
Do something part time and enjoy the life

Ugh this is literally my biggest nightmare. Recently left consulting and I hate the actual company and don’t feel like I’m learning. Already have a Masters so def wouldn’t consider an MBA but I am so scared of moving to yet another shitty job...like it’s nice to have more free time but I want to enjoy my professional life to a degree.
I’d say given how pricey an MBA is, really consider how necessary it is for your larger career goals. If it helps, look into applying. If not, I’d really think hard about the industry you work in (since you haven’t liked 2 jobs in the same industry).
Feel your pain. A shitty job is so draining. Also, people with a Master’s can still get an MBA.
Reflecting back, I don’t think I hate the industry, just unfortunate I was on the receiving end of a lot of bad luck. My old manager got pushed out, my new one is terrible, and the company also recently had a lot of turnover. Starting to think I just have a knack for joining terrible companies...
I feel your pain. Going through the same thing with a recent industry move. Even though it sucks right now, think about the 3-5 year picture. I say that bc b school is a big investment and if it doesn’t help you get to where you want to be, then you can get by without. Just hang in there, it’ll get better
MBA has always been in the back of my mind. I even took the gmat when I was in consulting. The last few months are making me lean towards applying earlier rather than dealing with another year at my current company
What role did you pick up in the industry? Curious as I am making a move to the industry.
What didn’t you like about the first industry move? Why did you pick the second company? Every job has trade offs and pros / cons. Good to stop back and reflect.
