Are overnight airport layovers really worth the savings? I once had a 9-hour overnight layover in Amsterdam and figured I’d just crash at the gate to save money—big mistake. Between the freezing A/C, nonstop announcements, and those unforgiving metal chairs, I got maybe 45 minutes of sleep and felt wrecked the next day. Still, part of me wonders if shelling out $150 for a nearby hotel would’ve felt like overkill. Have you ever tried sleeping at an airport? Was it tolerable, or would you never do it again?

Help!! My bestfriend is doing two months abroad and was trying to fly into turkey when they told her she couldn't because her passport expired within three months.

She went to the US Embassay in Athens knowing she had a month left of traveling, and gave her an emergency passport and punched holes in her exsisting one. Now no country will let her in with her emergency passport.

Can her mom get her a passport in the US and ship it to her? Is there anyway around this?
