The good ones will. Others just disappear. Next.
Once. I felt the vibe shift from warm and enthusiastic to icy, so I knew the rejection was coming. I tried to get ahead of it by asking for a brief meeting to get feedback on the last round. He agreed, and I led by sharing my impression of the last round, and asking for anything he’d be willing to share about the feedback he heard. He basically confirmed my fear that the interviewer didn’t click with my answers. I thanked him for his time and the formal rejection came a few days later.
A lot of recruiters avoid giving feedback because it doesn't really serve their purposes. And they don't want anything they say to be misconstrued. If you have a good rapport with a recruiter they may offer some feedback, but it seems like the general policy is to avoid it.
