Are there any agencies worth checking out in Vancouver?

Vancouver agencies are kind of a Faustian bargain. Sure, you get to live near the mountains and the ocean (if that’s your thing), but you’ll be working on things like BC Hydro or a local casino or the milk board.

Very small regional shops. 123West and Rethink are the only places remotely interesting. Budgets tiny. Salaries tinier.

What about ddb

@SD1 just Vancouver leadership or Canadian leadership there in general?

What about cossette?

Gutted during COVID.

No but it’s super awesome to shoot there!

There’s a huge production community in Vancouver and a lot of great non-union talent. When you need to shoot out of the US for non-union and shoots with tighter budgets a lot of productions will go shoot in Vancouver.

Yup loved it up there

Any 🐠 looking to hire a consultant with S&O + M&A experience? I have a diverse range of experiences across industries and verticals and would be an invaluable resource to any team (my manager’s words, not mine). Interested primarily in tech or retail. Currently interviewing for two FANG positions in ops, but would love to expand my search! Thanks!

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

Just sent a resume for a referral to HR and he answered me “sorry we have targets so for a few months we will hire only women”. Thoughts?

Is anyone interested in investing in a commercial asset that returns average CoC of 10%, 8% pref and an IRR of 15%+. Total return of 100%+ typically 5 year hold. I’m looking to help raise some capital from sophisticated investors over the next few months but not sure if people in consulting are interested in this. Most of my investors are friends or acquaintances as of now.

Is there any B4 firm(except KPMG) that hire experienced associate in FDD? I am looking around the web and most seems to be looking for only seniors. (PwC does but practically Senior cuz they require 2 years of experience)
