Are there any apps/programs out there which are good for managing business travel (flights, hotels, car, etc.)? I'm aware of some of the sites such as Travelocity but was wondering if there was something more specific for business travel. Thanks for any advice.

I havent' ever heard of this but I am going to have to look into it as I am needing a good app for this as well. Thank nyou for sharing.

Are you looking for something to create itineraries or something to actually book the travel?
For itineraries TripIt is excellent
For travel booking, most companies use concur in conjunction with some sort of travel agent such as world travel or Amex global business travel or BCD. However, you really don’t need the concur piece if it’s a smaller org. You could just request proposals from each of the travel agents for them to provide you travel services and still get the same discounted travel pricing and itinerary options. Of the 3 world travel has the worst pricing for the actual travel. However, they may be the best priced from the backend meaning how much they charge to provide you with travel services. I honestly have no insight into what a good price for the contract for their services since every company I’ve worked for already had a contract in place with one of the companies I mentioned before I started

What would you get from one of those travel services? You would get a travel agent or a bunch of them actually, where you would tell them where you’re going and they will give you a list of options to choose from with prices and then they will book it all for you plus track and make you aware of any changes and help you make those changes.

I am in the process of finding administrative assistant interns from our local universities. In an effort to make my job opportunity appealing, I am asking everyone in this bowl about an appropriate job title. Is "Administrative Assistant" outdated or unappealing? I certainly don't want to mislead anyone on the job responsibilities, but I do want to avoid any potential negative stereotypes attached to that job title. Are there alternative titles that you find more appropriate for 2022?

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?
