I have been working in the construction industry for 2 years under a general contractor. I am wanting to get into consulting and my ideal role would be something like an Associate in Major Projects Advisory with KPMG. I’m curious to know which firms/companies have positions and departments like the one mentioned that I could apply for?

There are only few and limited free resources of course but if you're willing to shell out some money there are courses in Masterclass, Coursera, & the Trade Desk. If you know anyone currently enrolled in a school that has business courses/a business school they can probably download some readings for you. Depending on your current level, any marketing 101 articles cover the basics of strategy/strategic thinking.
A more manual way you can do it is active self teaching - every time you hear a term or something that you're not knowledgeable about, write it down and do the school of Google. The Google AI can be terrible but follow through and read the links instead. I took strategy courses in school but I get lost in strat-speak when I hear certain terms that may be new or wasn't covered in anything I'd learned before.
In any case, you have a great attitude, a lot of people are happy never trying to learn beyond their remit. Be open about what you don't know, and always approach all questions in the spirit of learning. Good luck!
Thank you!!
VMLY1 had good points however… skip the line and Google “Framework Factory Stategy Finishing School”.
Best $100 you will ever spend.
