As a junior/mid level employee, how do you balance leaving at a reasonable time (because all of your work is done) and managing the thoughts of those who are more senior and think you should stay late

Simple. Check in with everyone on your team right before you leave. “Hey you good? You need anything? Any way I can help you before I get out of here?”

This will fill those blind spots you might have in terms of anyone who thinks you’re not putting in the work. Because if they actually do need help, they’ll tell you. And then you can help and make an ally in the process.

This also allows you to leave work without stressing like you are now. Because if they don’t need your help, then what good are you sticking around anyway? They’ll be smart enough to deduce as such.

Don’t stay late for the hell of it, you’re only helping normalize that toxic behavior. But do communicate with your team, because you might also be leaving others hanging or doing extra work without even knowing it.

This stuff is delicious! A light sweet spice and what I thought was a small hint of chocolate. And it goes down very easy! Not harsh at all. Surprising for a rye.

Do tech companies like FAANG hire strategy consultants? Starting at an MBB/T2 next year and curious if tech companies leverage consultants as much as other industries. Part of me wonders if they are in such high growth right now that consultants can’t add as much value, thus maybe a smaller presence. Thoughts?

Question for 2020 summit:
Is there ever a perfect time to switch your role in an agency (Strat to account, account to creative etc.)? Or do you have to start from the ground up?

Question I’d like to bring up at the MAIP 2020 Summit: What advice does one have when creating your own role?

Is food something we can discuss for the Summit? If not, can we address tokenism in the industry? Like what are actionable steps to break out of that in ‘diverse’ agencies? It’s hella annoying.
