Do you think you and your significant other should have similar personalities? My significant other and I are doing long distance and I feel like when I FaceTime with him, I emote more and show interest by asking more questions but from his end, he doesn’t always have a reaction or just nods, and it makes me feel like he’s uninterested. I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? In my experience, it's been considered taboo (especially by employers) for employees to discuss salary with peers. Does this practice help encourage pay inequality? Thoughts?

Is food something we can discuss for the Summit? If not, can we address tokenism in the industry? Like what are actionable steps to break out of that in ‘diverse’ agencies? It’s hella annoying.

It seems as though entry level/junior roles in the industry are slowly disappearing. How can young people who haven’t managed to get their foot in the door yet actually start? For not so recent grads.

Working at a place with less then 10% POC total. Then watched as the majority of those folks left after less than a year. This virtual work environment has reminded me how much MAIP used to anchor me to a physical sense of community.
