Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

It’s only advertising, not like hiring a bad surgeon or missile launcher. Try to recognize talent, and prioritize it over specific category experience. But ultimately the team is responsible for choosing the candidate they want to hire.
You’re just presenting them with options, and sometimes it doesn’t work out. People are weird and advertising is weirder.
If this is going to be your job, get determined to be good at it. Talk to the team and see what they're looking for, and try to develop your eye for talent. If you're new at it, it's understandable to find it challenging at first. Give it your best effort and you'll develop an instinct for who seems promising.
