Associate Lawyer - being released from small firm. A base salary of $30/hr = $4,500/month before deductions. Been here almost 4 years as a lawyer + 2 prior as a assistant/articling student, I've been told that I need to bring in $15,000/month in fees before I can make more. I currently have a file load of approximately 70 files, I estimate that I will be bringing in approximately $35,000 in fees as I prepare for my exit, What is a reasonable request for the fees they're making from my work?

Hi Accenture people, got offer today, asked HR about project, she mentioned it will be mapped on first day itself and will be connected with project manager. I told her i need details about the project and she said she will talk to project manager and get back to me tommorrow. Everyone says we have to search project after joining only. So any idea if this scenario can happen? Anyone got to know project details before joining? Please share ur views.

Received an offer from the DOJ for a 2 year contract, doing work which seems more interesting/engaging than what I’m doing right now (insurance defence) - but for just over 9% less than I’m currently making, and the partner track has been outlined for me at my firm..feel like it’s not worth trading higher long term earning potential for contract + pay cut just because the work is more engaging..but on the other hand, ID is starting to bore me..thoughts/refs to anyone at DOJ would be appreciated
