Costco is really great. You can get lower markups there with good quality diamonds
Think of it as a relationship building exercise. The jeweler you choose will likely be someone you go back to. Find someone knowledgeable willing to work with you through the process. There is a lot to learn, and price is only part of it. Hit me up if you want to chat - JA, also in ATL.
Go to a real jeweler in the city. Do not go to any of the places you mentioned, please.
Blue Nile it, imo
Don’t get into the dick measuring contest this thread will inevitably turn into. Out of the three you mentioned, Costco is the way to go.
Overall, I stand by my original Blue Nile assertion
Omg never go to a place in the mall. Jamesallen.com
Go conflict free - brilliantearth.com
Zs1 brilliant earth is a huge phony. Google it
No way to trace diamonds
Blue Nile - I just did it and compared prices as any good consultant would. Better quality cuts and better prices. Use Holloway Cut Advisor too.
NOT JARED 😱😨😱😨
Get moissanite, diamonds are a huge waste of money. I got mine at The True Gem.
Do ritani, James Allen, blue nile. Down load a bunch of samples within your criteria and build a multi variate regression in Excel. Use four cs as independent variables and cost as dependent. This will give you a price Comparison tool and point you in the right direction. I ended up getting a better quality stone at a better price. Mine appraised for 40% more than I paid.
Blue Nile man. But diamonds are pointless
Hearts on Fire. That’s where my wife’s ring is from
Shane has been great with free ring cleanings and repairs. If I move out of ATL, I know I'll still have access to that service. Tough to do that with the local jeweler.
Tiffany is so over priced- no need to throw extra money away
If I ever am engaged I want mine to be from Costco. Quality and more bang for buck
Don’t go to those cheesy places at the mall 🤦🏻♀️if anything Costco is the way to go. Better yet, find a small mom and pop store, especially ones that don’t pay their sales associates solely on commission. Those jewelry stores are the best bc they’re not pushy and really helpful
Try Highland Diamond, a locally owned and operated shop with great service.
Cumberland Diamond. Family owned and great customer service. Love my ring from there and good value
