Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

Probably because everyone has someone above them that is trying to squeeze them and get them to produce as fast as they can. All that fake urgency starts snowballing as it goes down the levels and by the time it gets to us regular employees they make it sound like it's the end of the world if we don't get on top of things. That's my theory at least.

Bullwhip effect
I swear it makes some people feel good to act like what they are doing is of the utmost importance and to try to coerce others to operate the same way. No one works better when they feel like everything is an emergency. People make more errors and feel more stressed overall. I'm with you - I think it's okay to breathe and take your time, even after a long weekend. I know it might be controversial to some, but it really isn't so much when you think about it.
It’s mostly emails we are doing, not saving lives. But you would think that with how people act. Really does feel like they have to make up for the one day that was missing. Even though it wasn’t something that just came out of nowhere. And it happens again and again over days off.
