Firm recently paid out 4% bonus to every employee at end of fiscal year as a profit share bonus. This was after raises given in early Fall of 3%-8% range. A tax senior’s response to me was that after all that work last year the 4% fell small and seemed like firm was greedy holding back remaining profit from expense savings and layoffs. My response was silence at first as I mentally went over the three values I hope to exhibit in leadership (honesty, empathy, humility), next I....

I'm soon expecting a band promotion Band 28 to 30 within risk management domain. Can anyone enlighten on the salary hike I can expect and will it be negotiable? Thanks!

Just worked through another weekend boosting organic content for the client on their respective channels, FB/TW/IG. So tired. How do I negotiate extra compensation for these off-work hours especially since they interfere with my personal life?

I think I’m being underpaid, according to pay scale and some suspicion I’ve had over the last year. I’m almost at 1 year with my company and I’ve been thrown around to different products, and my new product is more technical, more chaotic, and more intertwined with other teams compared to what I was on. My only issue is that I don’t have goals or KPIs to compare when asking for a raise. Is it justified to ask for a raise when you’re in a more technical product line etc? I can lay out differences

I am a Reliability Maintenance 3P contractor for Amazon. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering on June 2022. I’ve been working with Amazon for a year, but there’s a lack of prospective EE positions within the company. The job postings I see are either less or barely above my current salary. I was looking at salaries on glassdoor and it's saying Senior Consultant average is £45k.
Is Senior Consultant someone with 2YOE+ and the next grade up from graduate consultant?
As in my current firm it's the 3rd grade for people typically with 4YOE+.
