BCG principal salary according to Glassdoor is $318K (base + bonus + profit sharing) in the US. Is this in the ballpark?

Within normal range. Salaries are lock step, I believe base for a P1 is $212K and then bonuses can be up to 30% with 5% more for profit sharing. Principal at BCG is their SM/D level, not a partner.

I think 30% is target bonus (ie, expected if you are in good standing), with 60% as the highest bonus possible (which few get). Think profit sharing is also 10%

I doubt that. In Glassdoor - Samples you see for Bonus are different samples for PS. Also, if you analyze - some people have considered bonus as profit sharing, so essentially they seem to be same on the Glassdoor.

What I believe is 200-300 is Base. Most Bonus or PS is approx 50% of the base - means the range should be 30%-60% as one grows from P1 - P4.

Currently I work as a implementation consultant in a fast growing B2B SaaS company. We just recently received a funding round of 500M EUR, but I don’t have any stake in the company yet (only joined 5 months ago). I got an offer for EY-P but turns out the compensation is a bit lower than my current salary (~50kEUR). I’m really interested in strategy & PE cdd, but never done it before.
