I started as a Senior Associate for 6 lakhs and ended up as an Associate Director with over 1.5 crores now (in EY US now). It’s all a matter of perspective and timing.

Congratulations for a great run. But now think about finding another job - a relatively lesser salary would actually help you find a job relatively easily. Anyway in GDS growing beyond Associate Director is very tough.
Hi, congrats on your long stint at GDS.
Here is what I theorise:
You just got promoted to AD2, you started as AM1 with 3 yrs. work ex, so your starting salary should have been around 15-16 lpa, scaling that up with respect to your years spent here and the salary band of Managers, your fixed should be around 38-40. Maybe you will get a hike over this number in Oct.
If my theory is close enough, then you seem to be underpaid here. Now, 2 paths from here on.
1. If you are really good at blending in with the partners (I'll prefer), you just need to wait it out for another 2-3 years and you will be a money making machine for yourself. I know that AD2s and above focus more on their benefit than the collective benefit of their team. They will ensure their promotions in the worst market, when promoting analysts is not feasible.
2. Make a switch and start building your trust again in another company with a good hike already but later on it will be the same as GDS.
