Before: I worked only at nonprofits. I was used to everybody filling all 8 hours of our day with plenty of work, and it was because we had to raise funds to operate, and there was no extra room for roles that didn’t get used fully. Now: I'm in a new role at a federal gov't agency, and I don’t have enough work. It seems some/many others also don’t have enough in their area to fill 40 hours a week. Any insights from others who have worked in both sectors - comparing workloads and staffing levels?

Hey Fishes I have completed close to 4.5 years in EY under the Tax Operation team specialized in resource management. I am getting only 7.5lpa inspite of getting "Strategic Impact" which is the highest reward category. I was supposed to get a skip level promotion which the HR had rejected for some reason.
