Hi. I'm a final year btech student, and I recently got an offer from PwC India for the post of Sr. Analyst, with the package of 4.5lpa fixed + some yearly performance bonus. How should I expect me to be my career graph in pwc? Promotions, work culture, work life balance, basically any kind of insight will be appreciated.
THANKS A TON, IN ADVANCE.
Would anyone working at ZS Associates be willing to discuss day-to-day work and type of projects, preferably at the consultant level? Trying to make the switch to strategy consulting and want to see if my background would fit what they are looking for. I would really appreciate any time anyone has, even if it’s just for an email or two.

Hi! I work in PR - I would say it really depends on the experience you have in ad and whether that’s relevant as well as what kind of agency experience you have from internships. You can probably make a case for yourself to be hired on at the entry level as an Assistant Account Executive (this is the most common title for PR entry level but sometimes it’ll be Account Coordinator, as you suggested) and then get reviewed at 6 months for potential promotion then, but it really depends on the agency and their rules/practices as well as how you perform. Most places probably won’t take you on immediately as an Account Exec (the next title) because your skills and experience from your current role and your internships won’t make you directly qualified in comparison to someone applying from another PR agency who does have that 1-2 years in the AAE role, but you can see if there’s any leeway to get a formal review earlier and have a potential promotion sooner.
I completely get what you are saying! To give more context I started out as a media buyer in national tv and now currently work as an assistant account executive on a large shopper account for a family of CPG brands (I ran out of room to explain this) but your feed back is helping point myself in the right direction
