Being a single dad has always been tough, but it's getting even harder now that my daughter is old enough to have some after school activities and get into sports. My time is stretched so far between work, running around, and trying to maintain some semblance of a social life. Are there any good podcasts or resources out there for single parents?

How can I get passed cynicism?

Having struggled with visa for the past ~6 years, I have become extremely cynical. I don’t trust real friendships anymore because friends turned into competitors or got too burdened to maintain the friendships.
I feel somewhat disgusted when my coworkers or managers tried to “build rapport” with me.
I understand the value of doing so, but my repulsion inevitably showed through my apparent desire to end small talks as soon as possible.

Anyone else struggling to make meaningful friendships in b school? It’s only been two weeks but I’m struggling to go beyond superficial talk with anyone

After two years of this I don't care about "better exit ops". I'll take WLB and a decent salary for my freedom back. After 10/15 I'm applying to every industry tax accountant/analysts job I see

Ex-consultant now in marketing. Used to be an avid follower here and got great insights on companies when trying to exit consulting so thought I’d try here for advice. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.
