Best budgeting app? I’ve tried mint, personal cap, Banktivity - dont like any of them. Want something that lets me treat my transactions like a to do list that needs to be categorized.

I actually just have my own excel to budget on a daily basis. I find I don’t like how these apps categorize and when they update info.

I use Tiller and love it (and did not sign in with Google).

Have tried YNAB too, doesn’t quite work for me

It feels quite restrictive. I get the purpose of allocating every dollar to different categories but I don’t want to track my budget that closely if I’m behind honest. What I want is to see what I’m spending money on with some nice visualizations, and base my spending on what I see.

i agree!! use my own excel... i actually am working on a side project on this, glad the question was asked. just wondering - what specifically do you hate about financial budgeting apps? what do you wish they were like?

Tbh I like real time updates to my finances, and these apps doesn’t pull 24/7.

The argument that climate change is not man-made has been disproven by science over and over again, yet many people believe that the global crisis is either not real, not of our making, or both, in part because the news media deliberately chooses not to talk about it because it doesn't sell enough.

Are there any debt consolidation options for a professional family man with a decent credit score, who's let high interest credit card debt get out of hand? I get the mailers that entice with a low advertised rate, and then the offer comes back at something slightly less than what I am already paying. I am thinking something along the lines of a bank that I can talk to, and explain exactly where the money is going, not being apposed to a direct deposit to the card companies themselves.
