I know that Google often lowballs nowadays unless you can show a competing offer, preferably from another FAANG. I am in the middle of interviews at Google and a recruiter from Facebook reached out. Trying to decide if I should try and get an offer from them for leverage. Does anyone know whether Facebook will send over the offer in email form before I verbally accept? I know some companies refuse to put anything in writing unless you verbally accept.

Are promotions harder at FAANG companies? The companies seem more flat than consulting.

Currently working in canada at $130000 +20% bonus.
8 total year of experience of which 6 years of experience in UX field.
