Just had an interview where I asked about next steps and they told me that I didn’t have enough of a certain skill set to hit the ground running in the role. It’s fine, because I realized that myself during the interview, but it wasn’t entirely clear in the JD. Still, the role sounded interesting and it sucks when all you want is a new job. Trying to stay motivated but it’s hard.

I like consulting, but I am more interested in improving patient outcomes. Depending on the project I am on, usually that’s not a huge driver for the project or what my role focuses on. I am currently aligned to Health at ACN. I would like to move to industry where member centric care, patient outcomes, reducing disparities etc is at the forefront preferably using health technology. Anyone have suggestions?

I recently made an internal job transiton to get away from my toxic boss. I made the decision mindlessly without being interested in the new role. It’s been 4 months and I now very much regret my decision. The new job is so fluid that everyone takes advantage of my time and I’m turning into everyone’s executive assistant or OOO coverage even if I’m not qualified. It’s not what I want to be doing. Do you think employers can get past this 4 month stint or should I stick it out?

I feel like I am not getting clear guidance or leadership from my design manager or my PM. I have been creating project initiatives, frameworks and discussion guides but there is no one really assisting me in creating them or stepping up to make decisions on the best path forward.
