Not always the quickest but Bacco’s for a real sandwich that doesn’t use AI generated chicken like sweetgreen has
Bacco's is a solid choice.
Couple other ideas for you
- Walk a block down Clarendon to Greystone, technically the south end but so close to back bay and delicious
- Flour or Tatte are both solid for sandwiches and salads but you should order ahead
- Naya and Life Alive are 2 of the more tolerable slop bowl places. Much fresher ingredients than SG/Cava/Dig/Chipotle
- Parish cafe - technically a sitdown spot but you can get to go
- Greco on Newbury is a chain but does have good gyros
Besides Bacco. It’s all slop bowls- Greco, Dig, Cava, sweetgreen. Keep it on rotation.
However, there is a farmers market on Tuesday, and stand that serves delicious chicken pita wraps, a little pricing for what it is like $14. But that’s the going rate for lunch these days
And Ofcourse Billy’s Sub Shop. But that’s a bit of a hike.
Anna’s in the Pru is great.
