My partner has stopped explaining changes on my legal opinions (trademark risk assessment) and just sends me one liners like "I would assess as...." to change without direction. This makes me uneasy. Is it common for the benefits team to administer accommodation? I was always under the assumption that HRBP’s, who supported those business units administered it and provided the benefits/leave team with the tracking information to put it the HRIS system.

Do you give notice as soon as you sign the offer? I signed today with a start date of 4/11 and the recruiter has not contacted yet on what the next steps are. When onboarding with my current employer, they advised that I wait until everything has been finalized (background check, references, eta). Giving notice today is already less than the 2 weeks I would like to provide. Not sure if I should wait or is it ok to give notice today.
