Hope you are doing well, I need valuable suggestion on few of my queries.
I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. Talented is one thing, desire is another. I know a lot of talented people who left consulting or didn't want to become director level.
Btw, you may want to define Director, as titles are not easily comparable across firms and industries.
Some people just can’t sell. You can be an all star client deliverable person but if you can’t sell you will only go so far

Right opportunity, talent, support from leadership, goal clarity, ability to win and deliver business accelerates process. It's also about inner desire for the rat race and sacrifices you make in your personal front. I decided to drop out of the race and do something else.
It probably depends on the role. There is a sales component in many firms, there is a willingness to deal with politics as well
