MBA with Total YOE - 7+, relevant YOE- 5.3 , Skills - CYBERSECURITY,GRC, Audit.

I have got two offers
1. Genpact - 27 CTC (24 fixed + 10% variable plus gratuity) Manager level
2. Airbus - 23 CTC + 5 L JB
I really wanted to work with Airbus but they are not budging from the offer of 23 even after I told them I have a better offer from Genpact with better position. HR said they will come back..

You think Airbus will come back with better offer?

Recently accepted an offer at Twitter (I haven’t resigned yet thankfully) and of course have yet to hear back since the news of the layoffs.

Am I crazy to move forward if the offer isn’t rescinded? I’m deflated after many rejections, unhappy in my current role and the role is something I’m passionate about - I’m also no better off in terms of TC and frustrated since there will be no RSU package due to the acquisition.

I have very mixed feelings after how they treated their staff this week!

The MCK Recruiter had me apply for a EM job and got me signed up for the 'Interviewing at MCK' session. It was supposed to follow with the first round but after telling her i was ready i haven't heard for over 3 weeks. Any thoughts on what could be happening? Prioritizing other candidates? Or delay in hiring? I know they lost a couple projects/clients in the line of work i applied for.

Does anyone have insight on the pay at Accenture versus Accenture Federal Services? Looking at a manager role at the latter and trying to gauge a fair offer, but worry all (or at least most) of the data points I collect online and here are for the former. Any help appreciated!

I personally find myself weaving from different industries, using my evovling PR and comms skills, which I love because I get to apply my talent to new verticals and I am constantly learning. However, it’s interesting to me that many companies still want industry specific experience for so many opportunities. These same companies want agility and adaptability in candidates. In my opinion, industries can be learned, but skills & working styles deserve more focus.

What are your thoughts on this?
