In my opinion - there actually is a large difference between Big 4 and other firms in TAS. You get the best PE clients and largest deals which in M&A is really what people care about. Deal teams are always small so that negates the benefit of a smaller TAS shop.
If you get A&M though go A&M. They are the only exception where I’d say go there over big 4.
Cause they have a good reputation, poach tons of Big 4 TAS people, but most importantly pay a crap ton of money relative to everyone else
B4 has so much more clout than the non-B4. You'll never see a top tier client at regional. Go B4 title doesn't matter compared to client experience. And so many exit ops put B4 experience only its worth the investment now.
