Has anyone been fired? How’d you bounce back? How did you approach it when applying for new jobs? I’m legitimately worried I’ll be fired and could use some advice.

How would you approach an interview process where the company sounds exciting but you feel confident the role would not be a growth opportunity for your skill set? Am I crazy? I’m considering turning down an offer 3x my current comp in a city I love. I even like the company culture better at the new firm. Downside is the day to day work as they’re different industries. I really can’t see myself doing the work at the new firm long term. I get work is work but this especially leaves me unfulfilled. But feel bad turning down something that on paper seems like a no brainer. Any fishies here have advice/gone thru similar experience? Did you regret it?

Does anyone has idea about demand drivers in SAP? What exactly re these?

Anyone here choose between A&M, Alix, and some other usual suspect consulting companies? What made you pick A&M? Do employees generally tend to stick around? How is the culture, decent folks or sharp elbows everywhere? Is the total comp as good as advertised or is this false advertising? I have offers from A&M and Alix and Strat& and am trying to decide soon. Not just looking at comp, but looking to work hard at a place where I can learn a lot too and like the people around me.

LOS- Tax, retain shows no hours booked for the next few weeks. Asked my coach and he responded not enough work to give all associates 50-55 hours...I haven't received warnings- should I be concerned?

My bank makes you fill out a form if you want to work in the office for each individual day. It’s largely empty from what I hear. What are the risks if I were to go in and “borrow” an office chair for my new apt? How about a monitor?
