If you find it helpful, I've compiled some of the useful business apps and services I've turned to after a LOT of research and trial and error at https://josephliu.co/business-resources. If you have any specific questions about any of the categories or products I've listed there, do let me know.
Hi D1, I have a project plan that I am selling for individuals who want to start a new venture. I can tailor it to your specific business it is $1000. Also I will coach you through the plan, obstacles you encounter, and assist you with not falling into many of the traps new entrepreneurs usually fall into. My coaching service is $100 an hour for 10 hours, over the span of 5 months. That should be enough to get you started and help you set up your business. This is an operations manager role. I also am willing to Partner with you and help out for a fee and equity percentage, usually 30% if your looking for a COO. I have also DM you the same. Looking forward to working with you.
Accounting, bookkeeping and invoices. I would highly recommend Quickbooks.
I didn’t want to go to an accountant and was going to see how I managed myself. (I have a little previous experience in helping others organise business things and thought that £600 a year is better in my pocket haha)
Best thing I ever did was use Quickbooks.
You connect your bank accounts and enter the details of clients which you have the option to save, you invoice directly from the app/site and mark off when they’ve paid up and send them a receipt. Extremely easy to use. Manage and categorise your business and personal income and expenditure. I have it on my phone and set it to auto-categorise my business mileage by tracking my journeys. It generates your tax and gives you overviews of business income, expenditure and profit/loss.
Allows you to scan and attach receipts directly from your phone, to things you categorise as business expenses. Can log in from any device. You have the option to split expenses as partial business/personal (for example a grocery shop which might include some office supplies, but also general household things). Highly recommend.
I only have the basic plan (£4.99 I think, with a free 30 day trial to begin), which is also tax deductible as a business expense, however you can get bigger plans which offer a one-to-one advice service from accountants and relevant professionals. I have been fine with the basic plan so far and been using it since end of October 2021 when I started up :)
