And then sometimes you don't even know how to cite something, and how are you supposed to know that unless you ask someone who knows? I've found ChatGPT mildly interesting... until a manager shared an experiment he did last week. He asked a few bench analysts to spend an hour researching basic questions a client might ask (e.g. "which Fortune 500 companies have the most questionable ESG strategies and why?") and to answer via 2-3 short paragraphs. He posed the same questions to ChatGPT. He shuffled all the responses and asked a number of us to spot the AI answer. NOBODY picked correctly.
