I am planning to rent a 1bhk apartment and the landlord is refusing to give his PAN details for me to claim HRA. He is claiming that he will need to pay income tax on the same and hence want rent to be paid in cash.

I liked the place, but not claiming HRA above 8333 (without owners pan this is the max limit I can claim in HRA) is kind of a deal breaker as I will be paying 35 to 40k more tax.

What can I do in this situation? Apart from finding another place.

Wipro walo, I have joined on last month, 11th July. I am working in South African shift timings. I am entitled to get Rs 2500 per month as shift allowance, but I didn't get it for last month. On speaking to one of our senior members, he said shift assignment only takes place between 1st to 10th of every month. So it will be assigned this month and will also receive last month shift allowance pay as arrear. Is this true ? Where can I check whether my manager has assigned me a shift or not ?

I have joined Wipro on 4th May and today i have recieved an email from Matrix company on behalf of Wipro for background verification. They are asking for the relieving letter and form 16 but I have not received it yet from Accenture. Can I tell that company that i will get the relieving letter within 22 to 45 days?
