Does anybody know what the typical salary range is and total comp for someone starting out as an internal or external wholesaler? If you are one of these, can you share about your experience in terms of whether you liked it or not, work life balance, travel, etc?

“Experienced Hire” with 7 years of advisory technology consulting. Possibly looking to switch firms. Have no idea if I’m in the range, over or under market level on comp. What’s a good going rate for base plus bonus range? Currently 150k base with about 25 in bonus, but the bonus has accelerators which puts me closer to 180/190 in total comp.

Have an interview with BDO today. Can anyone advise what their busy seasons are like? I know they’ve been growing like crazy through acquisitions. Thanks!
