Anyone or know of anyone enlist after some years in consulting. I was raised with a deep sense of duty to country and to be frank what we do in Defence, Borders and Public Safety practices doesn’t really seem to be hitting it. I am torn since the pay is good for going to a joke of a college but I’m not sure if there is a meaningful future within ACN especially since we don’t play ball in the policy space (and for the most part operations). A couple of more operationally focused orgs have shown

My current company made it to IPO, and I’m thinking about leaving to join a startup (things are simply too corporate and bureaucratic now - I’m bored, underutilized, and feel like I’ve hit a career growth ceiling). I stumbled into my current role with a fair amount of chance and luck, and this is the first time I’m proactively seeking to join a startup. What do I need to look for?!?

I’m in the Continuous Improvement area in a Manufacturing place and I’m making about $65k/year. Should I start job hopping or consider change my career?

Is there a recommended path here? Long one, finished in the comments.

So I make around 35% below market for my titled role. My employer used “startup” as the reason when I was hired, but they’ve finally stopped using that excuse. I was fine with it, because I was promised a promotion within 12 months due to scope change. I’ve now been promoted twice, but in responsibility only. My boss said it’ll be another 18-24 months until my director promo is approved and goes into effect. More in comments

I need some insight on my salary. I've been working at a large insurance brokerage for 14 years now and am a Senior Account Manager. I service a book of around $1.5M and am doing all the data entry side of the job plus client facing service without much, if any assistance. My current annual salary is $78,500. I've recently found out from someone who left the company, who was in an entry level account management position, was making only $20k less than myself. Am I being fairly compensated?

I received an offer Friday for a new role that my mentor referred me to & she’s the director of the team. Its more in line with my career trajectory, fully remote, and the culture seems great. They offered 80k and told me the range is 70-80k and they were excited to offer the top of the budget. It’s a little amount but I was hoping for a min of 80, but really like 82k thinking about the role. Do I bother asking since they gave the disclaimer top of budget or ask bc there’s prob room?
