Hello! Anyone work at GE Healthcare?
Product Management at a large bank vs Business Analytics/S&O for FAANG? Recently started in the former role, but have interview calls for the latter just come up in my mailbox. Similar comp when adjusted for the different job locations. Can anyone help me with the Pros and Cons please. I know the roles are different, and so are the industries, need to understand difference career paths and difference in corporate cultures. JPMorgan Chase Google LinkedIn Citi

Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

It is definitely worth the move. If you really hate it then you can always leave. Exit opportunities will be better too
You will work long hours. People at all levels below partner are dropping like flies
Can you define “long hours”? Hours in audit are long as well, so I’m more like wanting to know the average hours people in AAS work each week and when is busy season.
I talked with about 3-4 in AAS and all said heavy workload, but well below audit hours. Match that with better pay, and I joined.
Thank you for the info. I personally think audit is way too stressful in terms of hours. Plus advisory seems to have better exit op.
