I’ve worked 2 years at a non profit 501c 3 tech startup. When I started there were 6 employees we now have 22. I am considered a part of leadership and am a people manager in addition to my sales role. I am a high performer and last year got a 10% raise (which I asked for). This year I was offered 5%. I am going to counter but curious what anyone thinks I should ask for. I was thinking 8%.

What is the job security for people on bench in HCS? I have joined HCS almost a month and a half and yet to be assigned to a project. I am worried if it would negatively affect my position in HCS. Kindly help with your answers.

Industry vets - in your experience how recession proof is insurance? The station I work at is down at least 15 positions. Some jobs have been open for two years.

The remaining staff is required to step up.

Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. Just how bad would it be to quit without a two week notice?
