Just got briefed to come up with a brand tagline and I quote: “Client is expecting action in the tagline, some sort of verb.” No other information, except what I already know of the brand by virtue of working on it. When I asked to speak with the client, my request was denied. Absolutely incensed with the servicing team. Not sure how to tell them this is unacceptable without screaming! I have an associate's degree in graphic design and work designing wedding stationery. I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them. I know I'm underpaid (50k/year in the SF Bay Area) but I thought the benefits and stability were worth it. I'm now severely burnt out (most of my team is) and not sure which way to go, or how to grow. Any tips/advice?

Ok straight out of ad school/internship at an A-list agency: is it better to take a job at a “lesser” shop where their work isnt great but they’re the only place hiring rn OR wait it out for better?
