Let’s talk office set ups. I am looking at a Uplift standing desk as my big splurge because I have back issues, and the room I work in has horrible lighting so I’m considering some sort of selfie light ring type thing that I can clip to my monitor. I recently started a local store visit campaign but it’s not allowing me to optimize towards store visits. My Google rep doesn’t know what she’s doing I swear, she’s not had any answers and she’s the one the recommended we utilize this ad type. Any ideas why it’s not letting me optimize towards this? Get directions is what I currently have it set as and we are getting conversions but we really want the store visits. Thanks so much!!

Hi guys, I am working as an Investment Analyst for a boutique asset management firm in Toronto, Canada (4bn AUM) making 70k annually. I am 5 months into this role. Credentials: 6 months of prior experience in this industry at a small startup + 2 years of work exp in retail banking, CFA L2 candidate, part time masters of finance student, bachelors from outside of Canada. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

Next time I have a meeting my Senior Manager, I may just snap and tell him that instead of constant nitpicking and giving hurtful, blunt feedback, how about acknowledging sometimes for a change?
