We have two open media planner positions in Durham, NC that we’re actively interviewing for. Our client needs are heavily digital and social. That said, we don’t separate media, analytics, programmatic and adOps responsibilities, our media team is responsible for it all from ideation through optimization. We have high expectations for ourselves, but also have a great support system in place that emphasizes development at all levels. If you’re excited by this type of a role, shoot me a note. Switching a company is a good. But doing it frequently will create a bad impression on your resume as you will instill in them the sense that you are not a trustworthy or long-term employee. They will feel like, you will be jumping from their company too after some months or years. That is a problem. But there are companies who doesn't care much about this.
Hence, I would personally recommend you to stay atleast for 2 years in a company, then switch. Because switching is the only way you could get a really good salary hike.
