How do you deal with toxic Asians with a superiority complex that constantly "other" and insult you as "white"? I'm definitely 2nd Gen/ABC, so not the most culturally Asian. That being said, still celebrate key holidays so it's annoying and borderline bigoted when some tells me I'm "not Asian" and "white." My parents chose to raise me more American so I fit in, so to be insulted over something I didn't "choose" gets annoying. * not a work thing, but someone with mutual friends I can't avoid
2nd year analyst up for promotion to consultant .. want to switch to IB. What position should I target? (Analyst vs Associate)?
Hi Everyone, Good Evening, I have a thought that when can I get appraisal and promotion in capgemini? As its been 6months since I joined capgemini.I am on senior consultant post. Thank You in advance!Capgemini
I was offered a job in DC that's a pretty steep raise for me, but to be honest, I don't feel comfortable living in the city proper. I don't agree with the mandates, and I've heard crime is super high. Any advice on good areas?
A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?
I have a offer from a good company for 19 LPA fixed , EOP 6.9 years. I have resigned in Accenture ,but management wants to retain in promising an immediate 2 weeks onsite to Europe. At the same time I will be receiving hike letter this week for promotion to L9 and management informed that I may get upto 40% hike. Current CTC is 12+3 variable. What should I do? (Considering this is my first offer)
Just got an external offer with promotion. I know folks at my current agency who have come in with contracts ... at what level is that a thing and what does it typically include?
Just got my comp review scheduled for Nov 10th and should be receiving a promotion to senior accountant. What should a reasonable comp adjustment be and how should I negotiate a higher one if I don't think the one is reasonable?
I'm up for a "promotion" and would like some help deciphering if the proposed salary is fair. In Chicago, what do Associate Producers tend to make? Can anyone give me a range?
Accenture SM at year 3 being poached by MSFT business. Path for promotion to MD in the next 7-19 months. Whilst pay seem appropriate (about 30% more and in line with lvl 4 pay), MSFT offering a level 64, which seems very confusing to me. I have 15 years of experience and have always been a strong performer, but and I’ve read about people from Deloitte with 5 years of experience moving to a level 63 at MSFT, so I’m puzzled. Any insights?
Does pretty much every company require you to fight for raises in order to keep up with market value or are there companies that exist who are good about paying you your worth? If so, which companies are good at this?
Do all apartment complexes raise rent every year when it’s time to renew? How do I negotiate stabilized rent when moving in for the first time?
Rant: Fragile white male manager on different team is condescending in all emails and correspondence and when I firmly raise an issue that he should’ve mentioned to me he immediately says “be careful how you address me and who is your manager - I feel attacked”. I am glad I stood up and also trying with all my might to not apologize because he took offense.

Any non-Americans want to get married and raise kids in their country, I’m single, and want out
My hospital told us we were getting a 25% hourly increase but only gave us 8% but gave the whole amount to select departments because of their retention issues. Now it’s been 8 months and we still haven’t gotten it. I’ve spoken to our director and our director of nursing. We are being told they have no idea when we will get our raise. What can I do about it? Our HR is incompetent and could careless about any of us. I want to go to corporate about it. Any advice?
Raise your hand if you've almost spilled coffee on yourself while purposely ignoring a beautiful girl in the hallway only so that she thinks that you have shit goin on in your life
FTM here, I’m almost ready to give birth in a week. How do you guys manage when you have to travel out of town? Especially once things go back to normal, if the companies start weekly travel. I am afraid of this and even turned down promotion thinking being a manager means more travel.
Where is a new build???

Any idea what level a lead is at Avanade? The job posting has no years of exp. I’m curious if I’m over or under qualified.
Anyone else leave their shower on with your clothes hanging because you're too lazy to iron? Heh
Anywhere in the Baltimore area where young people live/ it’s safe to live for a petite girl in her 20’s? Have a job opportunity there but worried about the excessive crime affecting quality of life.
Honestly it’s getting comical that there’s a new McKinsey hit piece published like every week now
