Total Experience is 5.5 years. Hadoop/Spark: 5.5 years.

Cloud experience is 2.4 years, (1.1 in Azure and 1.3 in GCP).

Other skills: Python, Shell scripting, SQL.

Received a verbal offer/commitment from the engineering team 3 weeks after my interview process. Still sitting and waiting (1.5 weeks) to have the conversation about compensation expectations and finalizing the offer. Is the Google hiring process typically this slow? Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

Due to a mix of circumstance, hikes / job moves, i’ve 2x my salary over the last year.
