Career as a Network/ Cloud Engineer?

I am a Product Business Analyst trying to switch my career from Product management to Network Engineering/ Cloud Computing

Would really appreciate your feedback about the career field. And what are the cons and things you don’t like about the field just so that I have right expectations. I am to leaving product mang. bcoz i dislike multiple stakeholder management

I have a Electronics bachelors, I plan to do CCNA and Azure/ AWS certifications

Advice when looking for Tech Consulting internships in Chicago or DC Metro? My GPA (3.04) has disqualified me from most major companies. I've opted to focus my efforts into my student organizations and helping others reach their goals, in doing this I compromised for a B average. Are there any firms that will accept recommendation letters with the application? The networking route is also something I am exploring, but haven't had much success thus far. Any help is welcome! Just venting. College friend (same ethnicity but came to US with family as a kid) told me she might get a new job offer w a smaller firm, 50% pay bump. We currently work at comparable big firms but her pay is already higher than mine (hers include stocks, mine doesn’t). We did equally well in college & I know I’m just as smart. Can’t help but feel like my career’d have been much better if I did not need sponsorship. Smaller firms don’t sponsor so I work at a big firm but pay isn’t great 🙄
